The Vetrol e-tag is a tamper-evident sticker roughly the size of a credit card. It contains a secure microchip that broadcasts a unique encrypted identity — one that is mathematically tied to your registered vehicle in the Vetrol system.
It holds no payment data. It cannot be read with a generic NFC scanner. Only Vetrol POS devices can interpret the tag signal, and only after verifying the vehicle's identity against your account rules in real time.

Choose placement
Place the tag on the inner side of your windshield, on the driver's side near the fuel flap. The tag reads through glass — the attendant scans from outside.
Clean the surface
Wipe the spot with the included alcohol swab to remove dust and oils. This ensures the adhesive bonds permanently.
Peel, press, done
Remove the backing and press firmly for 30 seconds. The tag is now active and linked to your vehicle in the Vetrol system.
If it's lost or stolen, deactivate it instantly.
Your tag holds no payment information. Even in the worst case — if your tag is removed and placed on another vehicle — the Vetrol system will reject it because the registered plate won't match.
If you lose your vehicle or suspect tag compromise, open your Vetrol account and deactivate the tag with one tap. A replacement is shipped within 24 hours.
