FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

No. Vetrol does not sell fuel. Vetrol provides the digital infrastructure — smart fuel tags, station POS, authorization, dashboards, and invoicing — that businesses and fuel stations use to make fuel transactions controlled, recorded, and reconciled. Fuel itself is sold by independent fuel stations.

Each vehicle is fitted with a secure Vetrol NFC smart fuel tag linked to its profile in your company account. At a partner station, the attendant scans the tag with the Vetrol Android POS. The scan identifies the vehicle, and Vetrol checks your rules, limits, and available funds before authorizing the transaction.

Report the lost or damaged tag through your dashboard or to our support team. The tag can be deactivated immediately so it can no longer authorize transactions, and a replacement tag is issued and linked to the same vehicle profile.

Vetrol transactions are accepted at stations in the Vetrol partner network. The current list of partner stations is shared with customers during onboarding — contact our team for the up-to-date network in your area.
